FACT: There are approx. 27 million active shoplifters in our nation today. American retailers lose $45 billion annually to theft. In the business of retail, there are two separate but equally important parties. The ShopLyfter that tries to steal the merchandise, and the loss prevention officer who stands in their way. Once caught, these officers need to make sure these delinquents never steal again by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. These are their stories.
Sept. 6th, 11:27am – Latina suspect apprehended and taken to office. Suspect did not have identification. Suspect was then strip searched. Multiple pairs of high end women´s lingerie was recovered on her person…
June 15th, 3:33pm – Female suspect apprehended and found to be in possession of several articles of clothing during a strip search. Suspect confessed that she just wanted some new clothes for her birthday. Loss prevention officer suggests they come to some sort of an agreement…
Oct 25th, 2:40pm – Suspect was caught on camera stealing underwear. Suspect also attempted to escape from the LP office. Suspect offered to pay for the merchandise. This is usually unauthorized, but LP officer allowed for it this time. The theft was reconoiled, but not monetarily.
Jan 17th, 1:39pm – Male suspect was caught shoplifting red handed by female LP officer. A full body search was conducted, and there was something mysteriously hard in suspects jeans. Further recon showed that this was the suspects third offence, which could leave him with considerable jail time. A resolution was reached totally where the LP officer got what she wants…
