When Josefine is sent to prison for running a high-class brothel, she meets "Stenz" Poldi, who soon ensures that she is released.
Once released, the "Mutzenbacher" goes back to her old occupation and seduces everything that comes before her cleft. She meets and falls in love with the young Count Vanya at a feast in the Russian legation.
