Felix Rammler, a toilet lid salesman, was supposed to be travelling to Istanbul for his company.
When he finds out at the train station that the trip has been postponed for a few days, he uses his stay to get to know the Munich of the seventies, when there were still peep shows and no end of booty shops.
The film is considered one of the great highlights of Hans Billian films.
